Operation

Has two hydraulic motors- one runs the blower and the other runs the rolling vane This hydraulic hose duster will dust up to 400 ft. through 2” hose Comes complete with 8 ft. hydraulic hose 12-½ ‘ rock dust hose Operates on hydraulics from 10 to 20 GPM 1,500 to 2,000 psi
The HRD-400’s unique feed system uses a rolling vane to inject dust into the air stream. By adjusting valve to control speed of rolling vane, the output of dust may be varied. The urethane vane rotating inside a tube at the bottom of the hopper traps dust may be varied. The urethane vane rotating inside a tube at the bottom of the hopper traps dust into pockets and rolls it into the air stream. This positive feed mechanism allows for efficient injection of dust into the airstream Muffler on inlet of blower reduces noise level. The bag breaker in hopper allows bags of dust to be opened quickly without the use of knives or other tools.
